Frequently Asked Questions About HERA Goddess

I was blown away by the response to my post about HERA Goddess last month! It was a little nerve-wracking to put it out there since this is such a new and exciting venture for me, but you all were SO into it! I’m so glad that my you are all as excited about this “Uber for hair” idea as I am!

Since last month’s blog, I have gotten some great questions about HERA. I wanted to have a little spot here for all the FAQs about my newest business baby!

How much can I make?

As a stylist myself, my number one goal with HERA Goddess is to help other stylists grow, find freedom, and of course, make more money! That’s why HERA Stylists get to keep 60% of every service + 100% of all tips!

With a flat rate of $125 per blowout service, you’ll receive $75 for each blowout. Since the average tip is $20, that’s an average of $95 per blowout! As you guys know, a blowout and style takes roughly an hour, so that’s an incredible hourly wage, right?

Let me break it down for you even more!

Part-time: 3 days a week with 2 blowouts a day would total $450 + all tips per WEEK!

Working part time, you could potentially make an extra $23,500 a year!

Full-time: 5 days a week with 3 blowouts a day would that total $1,125 + all tips per WEEK!

Working full time, you could potentially make an extra $58,500 a year!

Just imagine what that extra money could mean for you! Whether you want some fun money, are saving for a home, or working to pay off debt, this is an incredible opportunity to make money while creating your own schedule!

How much does it cost to start?

All HERA Stylists will be independent contractors, which means you will own your own business and be your own boss! This is a very inexpensive way to start your business! Here’s a breakdown of the start up costs:

Stylist Kit — $350

LLC — $50 (some of you may already have one!)

Liability Insurance — $200 per year (estimate)

Car Insurance — varies based on coverage, state, age, car, etc.

Products — $100 (estimate)

Am I eligible to be a HERA Goddess Stylist?

Let’s find out! Can you answer YES to all of these questions?

Do you have a valid cosmetology license?

Do you have a valid driver’s license?

Are you 21 or older?

Of course, there are a few things that aren’t required but are a major plus:

Are you self-motivated?

Do you love meeting new people?

Do you enjoy travel & working outside of a salon?

If you answered YES to all of these, you should definitely apply to be a HERA Stylist!

How are we notified about new clients?

When you’ve applied, ordered your Starter Kit, and shown proof of an LLC and insurance coverage, you’ll be all set to start accepting jobs as a HERA Stylist! Our HERA Concierge will send out new appointments via email and the first Stylist to say “I’m available” will book the job. Our HERA Concierge will then send you all the details along with the information for your backup Stylist in case of emergencies! It’s THAT simple!

When will this launch?

We are hoping to launch this May! My goal is to start with 10 stylists in Colorado and expand from there. HERA will continue to expand to more states and cities as our demand grows!

Are you available in my city?

We may be soon! Be sure to sign up for our email list to hear about new HERA Stylists in your area!

There you have it! If you’re excited to get started as a HERA Stylist, you can apply HERE! If you have more questions or want to set up a time to chat, you can email hello@hera-goddess.com or send us a DM on Instagram!
