Frequently Asked Questions About Hand-Tied Hair Extensions
I started specializing in hand-tied hair extensions here in Colorado in 2017. In that time, I’ve been asked ALL of the questions, and let me tell you: there is no question too small! When you’re making a big investment in your dream hair, you deserve to have all of your questions answered!
Here are a few of the questions I get most about hand-tied hair extensions!
Can I still wear my hair up?
With hand-tied hair extensions and the Harper Ellis Concealed Bead Method that I’m certified in, the answer is YES! Because the track of the weft is so thin and the Method hides the beads, you’ll be able to wear your hair any way you like!
How much does it cost?
Pricing for hair extensions begins around $1,200 and will vary depending on the look you want. The best part? Your consultation with me is FREE and can be done in the salon, over FaceTime, or over text! To book your consultation, just fill out this form. This will help answer a lot of questions and give us a great starting point for your consultation!
How long do they take to install?
You can expect your hair extensions installation appointment to take anywhere from four to five hours. This does include custom color, of course! Don’t worry, I’ll keep you super comfortable and provide all the snacks!
What lengths do they come in?
Harper Ellis hair comes in 14, 18, and 22 inches. During our consultation, we’ll talk all about the length and color that will blend the most seamlessly with your own hair.
How long do they last?
High quality hair extensions can last a year or even more IF you take proper care of them! I use Harper Ellis Hair Co. extensions, which are made from 100% real Remy human hair. If you follow the care guide, they can last more than a year!
Do they come in body wave or curly?
The hair extensions I use come straight, but because they’re made of real human hair, you can style them just like your own hair!
